The concept of a 'Dragon Egg' and a distinct 'Dragon Realm' populated by dragons interacting with Sorcerers is entirely fabricated. While the series features a character known as the Dragon Head, who serves as the source of magic for Sorcerers and whose head Caiman wears, there is no civilization of dragons or an egg artifact capable of reversing death from magical overexposure. Healing in Dorohedoro occurs through specific spells, the consumption of 'Dragon's Blood' (which has different effects), or natural regeneration, not through a living repository.

The air in the abandoned subway station was thick with ash and the metallic tang of blood. Nikaido's hand trembled as he held the pulsating orb, its surface shifting like liquid fire against his palm. "It's warm," he whispered, eyes wide with a mix of terror and awe.
